The song was translated into English by Kabir Chowdhury.
“Amar Bhaiyer Rakte Rangano” was written by Abdul Gaffar Choudhury and was given its music score, first by Abdul Latif, and finally by Altaf Mahmud.
Year after year its appeal has grown. It has now become, not only a song to be rendered during the annual observance of February 21, but also a song that has become universal. It has become a symbol of inspiration for people struggling to establish their national rights. This song played a strong role in establish February 21 as “International Mother Language Day.”
In our country, the song is being used in different projects, TVCS, and plays, which reflect the national spirit, and it revives our patriotism. For example, in 2016, the song was performed in 12 different languages by the artists of different countries. Aajob records released the song while Project 21 arranged the music.
