Bangladeshi actor and model Pujja Cherry Roy has been working in a garments factory to prepare herself for the lead role in her third film, “Dohon,” in which she plays the role of an ordinary garments worker. She said this in a behind the scenes video released on Tuesday on the official Facebook page of Jaaz Multimedia, the film’s production company.
In the behind the scenes video, Pujja said: “When I first received the script of this film I saw that I am a garments factory worker in the film. I was instantly astonished and started thinking about how a regular garments worker behaves and how they lead their life. To portray my role perfectly onscreen, I took a garments factory job and worked there for one week straight.”
“The most interesting part about this is, the other workers didn’t know that I was Pujja as I was dressed like them and working among them,” she added.
She also said: “I am also continuously working out at my gym to break my physique to make the portrayal of a garments worker even better.”
The video featured footage of the actor working at a garments factory in disguise and working out with her trainer at her gym. At the end of the video, Pujja sought everyone's best wishes and prayers so that the “Dohon” team could deliver them a great film to enjoy.
