Sapna talks hardships of being in the film industry

“When you come to the industry, specially for a female, it’s quite a whirlwind. When things take off, you think ‘I want to be a heroine, I am getting roles, my debut film is out, so I need to do a big banner project,’” Sapna said. “The pressure has always been there. I did get carried away with it at some point but now not really. I don’t feel that is restricted to this profession. In every industry, when you are new, you do face these things,” she added. In her short career, Sapna has faced many ups and downs, even relationship-wise. She was dating one of the star kids. He is Harshvardhan Kapoor. The youngest member of the Kapoor family, Harshvardhan Kapoor broke up with his alleged girlfriend, Sapna Pabbi and the reason behind his decision was apparently his father, Anil Kapoor. According to reports, even though the Kapoor clan is very fond of Sapna, who plays Anil’s daughter in 24, they did not think that the youngsters should get involved in any serious relationship and stay focused on their careers; especially since they are just starting off. The report further stated that Sonam Kapoor too wanted to keep her baby brother protected from all controversies before his B-Town debut with Mirziya. And it was clear that the youngsters decided to follow the family’s advice. Coming back to Sapna-it was quite shocking for her to accept such behaviour from her senior co-artist like Anil Kapoor. So yes! It surely is a difficult journey for women in Bollywood, especially when one has no “godfather” or a star surname.
