Omar Sani returns home after surgery

Popular film actor Omar Sani was discharged from hospital on Wednesday. He shared the news in a facebook video asking fans to pray for his health. “It could’ve been a bigger blow. I’ll return shortly and resume work. Pray for me,” he said in the video. Sunny was rushed to the hospital on Monday after four blocks were detected in his arteries. His wife, actor Mousumi said, “We didn’t waste any time after learning about the four blocks… On Monday night, three vascular rings were planted. Another one was planted the following day.” Doctors advised Sani to take rest, Mousumi said. Sani was in the Coronary Care Unit (CCU) till Monday noon. He’s now out of danger after the surgery. His son Fardin Ehsan said, “We’re hoping to take him to Singapore next week for complete medical checkup.”
