Tom Cruise to leave Scientology for daughter Suri?

“Mission Impossible” famed American actor Tom Cruise is reportedly ready to leave Scientology, according to the latest issue of Star Magazine. The 55-year-old actor is mulling over a decision to leave the church to be with his daughter Suri again as he has not allegedly been able to meet his daughter for five years due to the Church of Scientology’s strict rules. "He has reached the breaking point, and something has to give. If he wants her back, he'll have to walk away from the church, which has been a huge part of his life, to say the least. "Leaving Scientology would be the toughest decision he'll ever have to make! If Scientology declared open season on Tom, they could bury hum, since they've probably got all sorts of dirt on him from his audit sessions," Star reports quoting an undisclosed source. The source added, “It’s an unspoken threat, but Tom has to be aware that the church would do everything in its power to keep him from leaving.” However, after the quick circulation of the rumour, Gossip Cop has rejected it in a new report. “Gossip Cop checked in with a source close to the situation, who exclusively assures us that the movie star has no plans to quit the church. Cruise, who’s been a committed member of Scientology for more than 30 years, recently described it as a “beautiful religion,” reports the outlet. No official comment on this issue has been made by the 55-year-old star yet. His former wife and actor Katie Holmes has full custody of Suri after she filed for divorce in July 2012, ending their five-and-a-half years of marriage. Following her divorce from Tom, Holmes returned to the Catholic Church. Tom joined Scientology in 1990 and has been an outspoken advocate for the religion ever since.
