Antonio Banderas as Pablo Picasso in new season of ‘Genius’

The trailer of the second season of “National Geographic’s Genius” series features an unabashed and unapologetic Antonio Banderas as the celebrated artist Pablo Picasso. Created by Ron Howard and Brian Grazer, “Genuis: Picasso” traces the Spanish painter’s evolution over almost seven decades. Newcomer Alex Rich plays the young Picasso. “Genius: Picasso” will premiere on National Geographic on April 24. The trailer plays up Picasso’s famously colourful private life, even as it sketches a portrait of his illustrious career.
