Mou, Tahsan, Shuvo to judge Lux Superstar

With the presence of a bunch of former Lux Superstars, including Mim, Badhon, Shanu, Samiya, Suma along with film actor Arifin Shuvoo, actor and singer Tahsan and model Peya, Channel i managing director Faridur Reza Sagar has officially announced this year's “Channel i presents Lux Superstar” on Tuesday. Model and actor Sadia Islam Mou, musician and actor Tahsan Rahman Khan along with Dhallywood star Arifin Shuvoo will be seen as the judges in the reality show that is returning on TV after a hiatus of three years. “The beauty of a woman is not just about her face. It is the talent, confidence, hard work and passion all together that makes her a woman and this year's show will seek out the latent beauty among its contestants,” informed Sagar during the press meet that took place at a five star hotel in Gulshan. Sagar added, “Channel i and Lux has been collaboratively organising the beauty pageant for eight years. This year, we will try to bring out the women who are unique both in their beauty and qualities, who are confident and posses the ability to take lead in the society.” “Many of the former title winners of the pageant have successfully established themselves in the local industry,” said Nafeesa Anwar from Unilever Bangladesh. “Some of them are, in fact, leading the scene. We believe this year's participants will also be able to earn their positions in the (entertainment) industry with proper training, grooming and counselling.”
