60,000 square feet poster of ‘Amazon Obhijaan’

“Amazon Obhijaan” recently unveiled a poster of the film which is 60,800 square feet. The poster was presented at the Mohun Bagan football stadium in Kolkata. Thousands of people throng to witness the 320 feet long and 190 feet wide poster. Shree Venkatesh Films, the production company of the film claimed: “This is the largest Bangla film poster ever made. A total of 32 pieces were added together to make the poster. If hung straight, the poster would be longer than constructions like Big Ben (315 ft.), Statue of Liberty (305.6 ft.) and the Kutub Minar (238 ft.).” Director of the film Kamaleshwar Mukherjee, lead cast Dev, Music Director Debojyoti Mishra were present at the poster launching ceremony. Mahendra Soni, co-founder of Shree Venkatesh Films, thinks that this sort of huge posters will raise the bar of Bangla film marketing to a new level. The film “Amazon Obhijaan,” directed by Kamaleshwar Mukherjee is slated to be released on December 22. The movie is a sequel of “Chander Pahar,” directed by the same person. Both films are based on Bibhutibhushan Bandyopadhyay’s children's novels of the same titles. The film had a production budget of Rs25 crore. Laboni Sarkar, Tamal Ray Chowdhury, Eduardo Munez are the central casts along Dev.
