The authorities in Jhenaidah on Wednesday fined two vendors for selling soybean oil at higher prices during a routine monitoring drive in Jhenaidah's Payra Chattor and KP Basu Street.
The shops were fined Tk50,000 and Tk1,000 for irregularities by Directorate of National Consumer Rights Protection Additional Director Ziaul Haq.
