Towards a better world

The new generation is continuously striving to take the world onto new peaks of prosperity and prominence. They are the leaders of the upcoming “far more convenient” world where people would seldom require to use dismaying words like “difficult,” “troublesome,” “complex,” etc.

At some point of time in future, having network issues would simply remain a regard to just reminisce about also, owing to the ambitious youngsters of the new generation. Goes without saying that these new ones would surely pilot dreamlike economic improvements too.

This new generation can, however, make their surroundings more blissful as well by emphasizing enough on inheriting certain meaningful qualities they have always been advised by their elders to nurture.

Like developing humanity, resilience, and compassion, as few of every new generationer’s fundamental characteristics apace with pursuing their super productivity-driven aspirations can allow the current and also newer generations to relish a truly humane world.

A better new generation must prioritize being good humans in the first place. The truest form of success for a person, I believe, is being a good human being, or getting through their whole life by sincerely striving to be so. One can reach milestone after milestone in one’s professional field and still remain far from the values of humanity. Such brilliance with no humanism is as good as ignorance, more of a threat to be precise. Hence, this morally unhealthy robotism must be relinquished.

Although one can usually be cultured with this attribute in oneself by being rightly guided at home and by teachers from his or her early days, the best time to start this sincere practice of being a good human is always now.

These future leaders populate the smartest lot among the entire world population. That being the case, it’s really deplorable that those who have commitments as strong as their young bones are prone to losing their battles with depression.

Therefore, being ahead in the race of ironically leaving others behind should not be the only thing for the youths to worry about. Considering the solid fact that winning against depression is challenging, it is imperative that due importance is given to making resilience a permanent component of one’s life. Because instilling this essential feature of resilience will allow the young generation to have enough mental soundness in order to bear, and quickly recover from, unexpected stress and trauma.

If others suffer and that disheartens you, you do have a heart. If you see others suffer and you step forward to help them with your actions or, at least, some kind words, you are gifted with the treasurable nobility of compassion.

However, it is a despairing reality that not a lot of people have this much-needed, albeit underappreciated, quality of compassion. But this is also true that a majority of goodness and altruism the world is still fortunately left with owes this compassion a great deal.

Hence, the young generation, which is readying itself to take on the already well-advanced world to more mind-blowing astonishments of advancements, should give equal attention to multiplying the practice of compassion to its maximum level of frequency.

All the improvements the world has ever witnessed and all the wholehearted initiatives that are underway to modernize the world more than ever before are undeniably praiseworthy.

Now, it is time that adequate importance is devoted with a view to making the entire young generation bearers of qualities as virtuous as the ones aforementioned. As the proverb goes, better late than never.

If the youngsters are starred with such truly humane standards, the world will certainly be filled with serenity, empathy, and merriment.
