The consistent growth of our neighbouring countries in the last few decades has certainly been of influence on our own path to development. Which is why the prime minister's recent call for increased cooperation is fitting.
In particular, the PM emphasized on the need for economic cooperation in South and Southeast Asia, for the mutual benefit of all countries in the region, and we wholeheartedly agree -- unity between nations can lend itself to faster growth of not only each country involved, but the subcontinent as a whole.
To that end, exploring more avenues of cooperation with our neighbours is the wise way forward, and it is promising to see that both Bangladesh and South Korea are looking to boost cooperation in a number of areas.
As per the premier, the rapid development of South Korea inspired Bangladesh's reach for prosperity, and can be an example for our nation on its road to becoming a developing country.
The solid partnership between the two nations till date has been of significant aid to both, and therefore, Increased trade and investment opportunities between the friendly nations can be a critical tool for our further progress.
As we remain firm on our goals to boost economic cooperation with other nations, it is important that regional cooperation is prioritized. Collaborative efforts between South and Southeast Asian countries will ensure our sustainable development.
It is with the help of our allies that we have been successful in realizing many of our aspirations, and fostering these partnerships will propel our nation to greater heights in the future.
