This is where Atreyi stands out from the crowd. Atreyi is an online shop that offers a unique collection of designer tops and blouses. Every item at Atreyi has a unique personal touch in both design and quality that sets them apart from the rest.
Owner Khondoker Limana Naznin said she did not have any plan to open an online shop. Initially, she used to design clothing for herself. Later, those designs grabbed the attention of her friends and colleagues. Finally, Atreyi started its journey in April,2019.
“It is not an easy task,” said Limana. “I am pursuing my post-graduation at theUniversity of Dhaka, and also teaching at a school at the moment. I am also the mother ofa two-year-old daughter. Making time for this venture and balancing it with the rest of my daily routine is very challenging. Each order requires a lot of attention to detail and hardwork but the result is always worth it.”
“The products at Atreyi are received very well by the consumers,” she added. “There are new orders every week. I have designed apparel for occasions such as weddings, puja, birthdays, etc. The most popular product lines are: Ranga, Diba, Dhushor Somoy and AbchaNeel.”
“It is very satisfying to receive thank you notes from the happy customers and it feels great to see my design in photos on social media,” she said. “The support and love from my customers and community are what keeps me going,” she added.
In future, Atreyi will expand its range of selection. Currently, its product line offers blouses, tops, and outer/ shrugs. There are plans of introducing an exclusive collection of designer sarees, kurti, skirt and scarf very soon, Said Limana.
Finally, she talked about her inspiration and philosophy behind founding Atreyi. “Atreyi means ‘a successful woman’, “ she explained. Each and every story of the women around us is a story of struggle, obstacles, success, and love. “Atreyi represents the essence of the confidence and the never yielding spirit of women in our society,” she added.
