The first poetry by Mahbubul Haque Shakil, a special assistant to the prime minister, was unveiled in the Ekushe Boi Mela on Friday.
Anwesha published his book, titled as Kherokhatar Pata Theke. The unveiling ceremony of the book was held at the Anwesha Publication's stall.
The ceremony was attended by former foreign minister Dipu Moni, the Samakal's editor Golam Sarwar, State Minister for IT Zunaid Ahmed Palak, Poet Rafiq Azad, Poet Habibullah Siraji, Theatre personality Pijush Bandyopadhyay, Poet Iqbal Hasan, rhymer Aslam Sani, Lyricist Asif Iqbal, Chhatra League leader and cultural activist Joydev Nondee, Publisher Shahdat Hossain, among others.
TV personality Anjan Roy conducted the whole program.
