Pearl Jam reveals full tracklist for upcoming album

American rock band Pearl Jam have finally revealed the full tracklist for their upcoming studio album “Lightning Bolt” after an elaborate Instagram campaign that revealed song titles, with dedicated artwork for each, over time.

“Lightning Bolt” will be the Seattle outfit’s tenth studio album and a follow up to 2009’s critically acclaimed “Backspacer” and is being produced by the band’s longtime cohort Brendan O’Brien. When describing the album’s overall sound, guitarist Mike McCready was quoted saying, “there’s a Pink Floyd vibe to some of it, there’s a punk rock edge to other stuff.”

Pearl Jam announced the album on July 11 on their website after a countdown clock reached zero, simultaneously premiering the first single “Mind Your Manners” on their official YouTube channel.

They also recently premiered the Danny Clinch-directed video for the single.

Pearl Jam’s “Lightning Bolt” comes out on October 14 and will be released under the independent label Monkeywrench Records, founded by members of the band themselves.
