“Secret Service,” a sensational new drama series, has started on Desh TV and will televise from Sunday to Tuesday at 10:30pm every week. The play is written my Masum Reza and directed by Arif Khan with an impressive cast consisting of Jamaluddin Hossain, Pijush Bandhopaddhay, Mita Chowdhury, Mamunur Rashid, KS Firoz, talented youngster Kalyan Corraya and many more.
Mahin’s father dies of heart attack suddenly. But, almost every night, Mahin dreams of her departed father. Her father comes and tells her, “You are my Hamlet’s shadow.” Mahin comes home to the unwelcome news of her mother’s remarriage to her father’s business partner Danik. Flashes of her father in her dreams haunt Mahin, and she becomes suspicious. She begins wondering whether her father’s death is an unusual occurrence, just like Hamlet’s death. It becomes unbearable for her to see another man replace her father, when that man has every chance of being the cause behind her father’s unnatural and sudden death.
She leaves home after giving ultimatum to her mother about leaving Danik, and takes shelter in her friend Chayan’s place. The story moves forward with interesting twists and turns and has many more characters included in its complex and thought provoking storyline.
