A group photography exhibition presenting an array of thought provoking photographs by promising and prominent photographers of the country ends today at Drik Gallery. The exhibition titled “Explore Bangladesh” organised by Bangladesh Freelance Photographer Association (BFPA) inaugurated on August 30.
The exhibition is showcasing the creative and extraordinary images in the categories of portrait, daily life and nature from different fascinating locations of Bangladesh. Anwar Hossain, Din M Shibly and Andrew Biraj are in the selection board of the exhibition.
The exhibition is a pleasant display of the scenic pleasures of Bangladesh. The distant corners and stunning charming elements present Bangladesh like never before.
BFPA, a platform of Bangladesh freelance photographers, has arranged the exhibition with the aim to highlight people, culture and mostly the natural beauty of Bangladesh. It is a platform for all photo lovers who live with the passion of seeing their world through the lens and showcasing their views through their photography. It has become both a virtual and a physical platform for photographers to share creative ideas.
The organisers have selected the participants via social networking sites and finally selected 129 photos of 102 photographers to display at the exhibitions. General Secretary of Bangladesh Freelance Photographer Association Sanjib Debnath shares that, “Fear, darkness any hindrance can never stop a photographer. They obtain their achievements through photograph.”
