Le Meridien Dhaka shall be hosting a week-long food festival showcasing the gourmets of the Mediterranean region, starting from February 25. Organised in collaboration with premium partner Standard Chartered Bank, the event shall be formally introducing the hotel's Mediterranean restaurant Olea, which is located on the top floor (floor 16) and shall feature a rooftop terrace. Guest chef Khalil Alsaeis, coming from St Regis Abu Dhabi, has been appointed to direct the menu and preparation of the festival's cuisine with a strong focus on grilled gourmets.
The event is dubbed “Le Meridien Mediterranean Nights,” and will also feature music from its namesake region to complete the dining experience for the guests.
The festival will be organised in association with airline partner Qatar Airways and beverage partner Coca-Cola Bangladesh Ltd.
