The North South University (NSU) successfully concluded the MOU signing ceremony with University of Maryland, USA on July 26.
The program was graced by the presence of chairman, BOT, M A Kashem as chief guest and chaired by Prof G U Ahsan, PhD, dean, School of Health and Life Sciences.
Prof Amin U Sarkar, vice chancellor, North South University, Prof Anwar Huq, Maryland Pathogen Research Institute, University of Maryland and Muqeed Majumdar Babu, chairman of Prokriti O Jibon Foundation attended the program as special guests.
The welcome speech was delivered by Prof Mizan R Khan, director of external Affairs, NSU, followed by special guest Muqeed Majumdar Babu. M A Kashem illustrated on the value of research collaboration between the two top universities of the respective countries. At the end of the program, Dr G U Ahsan, congratulated all the distinguished dignitaries, guests and faculties for becoming a part of this monumental achievement.
