Boxed Jumps 68% Premarket - A Dead Cat Bounce, Right?

Wall Street, stock markets in general, are not places for the squeamish nor mild of language. This is what gets us the dead cat bounce observation. If you drop anything from high enough - even a dead cat - it will bounce at least once. This fairly disgusting observation is used to describe share price movements. Something that falls with a resounding crash might well have a rally, but it's something that doesn't mean very much. Well between possibly and probably doesn't mean very much

The question is whether Boxed (NYSE: BOXD) ‘s 68% rise this morning really is a substantial rise or it's just the latest manifestation of this deceased feline idea. One way to try and work this out is to look at the trade in the stock under discussion. If there's real trade, in volume, then perhaps it's a real price?
