“I was just an ordinary girl from a simple family. But thanks to the love of my audience and viewers, I have become popular from Aroshi to Aru. However, the main person behind my journey this far is my husband, popular model, actor and blogger Shuvo.”
These are the words of popular blogger and model-actress Aru, who has already won the love of millions of people through social media platforms including TikTok and Likee.
Aroshi Aru’s full name is Bristy. She was born and raised in Comilla.
She started working in the media at the age of just 5.
Later, she rose to overnight popularity by creating blog videos on TikTok and Likee.
She subsequently appeared in the music video for Ek Dofa Ek Dabi, sung by Closeup One fame vocalist Salma.
The song received a strong response on social media. After that, there was no looking back for her.
At present, she is working equally in music videos and television dramas.
She currently has three big-budget dramas and two music videos awaiting release. According to her, the new projects will be released very soon.
The titles of the drama projects are Boro Lok Kajar Meye, Goriber Meyer Rajkopal, and Gorib Ghore Boroloker Meye. The music videos are titled Amar Mon Pakhi and Tan Dis Na Tui Dile.
Aru has worked with many popular artists. According to her, the list is quite long, but what she finds most gratifying is that she now gets to work with people she used to watch on television since childhood.
Among the popular artists she has worked with, she particularly admires Rina Khan. “Rina Khan aunty treats us like her own children. She taught us when and how to deliver dialogues in dramas, and we have always respected her like a mother,” she said.
So far, Aru has worked in more than 50 music videos and over 12 dramas.
Speaking about her journey, she said: “I was a very ordinary girl, but today you know that ordinary girl as Arushi, or Aru. My husband, however, is the person who taught me everything—from how the world works to how to conduct myself with different people.”
She added: “I am not exaggerating when I say that finding such a husband at this time is truly a matter of good fortune. When we got married, Shuvo was working at a job with a salary of only Tk6,000. From that small beginning and a little home, today, Alhamdulillah, whatever we have is all because of your love and prayers.”
“Yes, we also have a little princess, Soha Mamuni. Please keep her in your prayers,” she added.
