SpaceX’s satellite internet service, Starlink, has officially launched in Bangladesh. This expansion promises to deliver fast, low-latency internet across Bangladesh on Tuesday.
Ordering Starlink from Bangladesh
Residents in Bangladesh can now order Starlink directly through the company’s website.
Here’s how to place your order:
Enter your location and click “Order Now”
Choose your verified address from the dropdown menu
Pick your preferred internet package and select “Check Out”
Enter your personal details and payment information, then hit “Place Order”
Once your order is confirmed, your Starlink kit will be shipped to you within 3 to 4 weeks.
What you’ll receive
Each Starlink kit includes everything needed to get started:
A satellite dish
A Wi-Fi router
A mounting tripod
Required cables
Installation is user-friendly and requires minimal technical know-how. Just setting up the hardware and making sure the dish has a clear view of the sky is sufficient.
Packages
Two plans are currently available for residential users:
Starlink Residential: Tk6,000/month
Residential Lite: Tk4,200/month
Both plans offer unlimited data and download speeds of up to 300 Mbps. There is a one-time fee of Tk47,000 for the hardware kit.
