Want to become Hajj guide next year? Only one day left to apply

The Ministry of Religious Affairs has published a notice for the recruitment of Hajj guides.

To become a Hajj guide, candidates must have the experience of performing Hajj at least once.

The candidate's age must be between 32 and 62 years. They must be physically and mentally fit.

Candidates should have a minimum qualification of SSC or equivalent. They must be able to recite the Holy Quran correctly and have knowledge of Hajj rituals.

Candidates who can gather 44 Hajj pilgrims will be given priority, provided they meet other qualifications.

Candidates must be proficient in using smartphones, the e-Hajj BD mobile app, and WhatsApp.

They should be hardworking and polite in behaviour.

Priority will be given to candidates who are proficient in the Arabic language.

Shortlisted candidates must participate in training as part of the interview process.

Those who have been previously accused of negligence or misconduct while serving as a Hajj guide will have their applications considered invalid.

Interested candidates must apply online through the Hajj portal by October 15.
