Dhaka Tribune Jhenaidah correspondent’s father dies

Retired police personnel Alhajj Abdul Jalil Khandaker, father of Nayon Khandaker, the Jhenaidah district correspondent for Dhaka Tribune and Bangla Tribune, breathed his last on Friday.

Abdul Jalil Khandaker died while undergoing treatment at Fortis Escorts Heart Institute in Khulna at 8:30pm. 

He was 75 years old and was suffering from a heart condition. He is survived by his wife, two sons, two daughters, relatives and well-wishers.

His first namaz-e-janaza was held on the field of Jhenaidah Kaliganj Brickfield Orphanage in the afternoon. He was laid to rest after his second namaz-e-janaza in his village Nachunia of Terokhada upazila in Khulna.
