Mim makes a Tiger purr on Eid holiday

Actor and model Bidya Sinha Saha Mim spent some quality time with a fully conscious tiger on her Eid holiday. She met the adult tiger at Namuang Safari park, in Samui region of Thailand, with her entire family.

After completing shooting of films that are set to be released on Eid, Bangladeshi filmstars usually go on holiday abroad. Following that trend, Mim went to Thailand – a country she visits frequently.

She visited the tiger in Namuang out of curiosity, and was frightened by its roars several times, but she was eventually able to calm it down. It was sedated and purred when the former Lux superstar kept patting its back.

Mim said: “I was almost frightened to death. In that terrified state, after many attempts, I was finally able to smile for the camera. This was an exhilarating experience.”

Mim’s new film with Jeet, “Sultan: The Saviour,” has already been released in Kolkata on June 15. The film was directed by Raja Chanda, and Mim is very hopeful about the film's success.
