“When I was about two years old, my mom was up in the romance section in a public library and I was looking through picture books when I came across one book that till this day, managed to stay in my favourites of all time --Where the wild things are by Maurice Sendak.” says Jobling. By the time he was 8 years old, he was back at the library, choosing his first ever novel, The Hobbit by J R R Tolkien.
“ Literature can open doors and windows of imagination.” he says. Curtis Jobling writes fantasy and horror because he himself loves the genre and thoroughly enjoys it.
He entertained the children throughout the entire session by talking about werewolves, vampires, and sirens, and read out from his popular novel, Max Helsing.
Curtis talks about his best selling novels, and ends the session with a very interactive question and answer session with the children.
