A book titled “Visual Editing Skill”, written by digital creator Robinrafan also known as Obidur Rahman, was officially released on February 2, 2020, at the Amar Ekushey Book Fair 2020 in Dhaka. Published by Borshadupur Publication, the book received strong attention from readers and quickly emerged as one of the most in-demand titles at the publisher’s stall during the fair.
Released on the opening day of Bangladesh’s largest literary event, “Visual Editing Skill” focuses on social media video production, covering video editing techniques, special visual effects (VFX), and visual presentation methods used in modern digital platforms.
The book is written in a practical and instructional format, aimed at students and beginners seeking to develop professional-level video editing skills.
Due to sustained reader demand, a second edition of the book was released within 15 days of its initial launch, reflecting its commercial success and popularity at the book fair.
The title continued to attract attention throughout the fair and remained among the most requested books published by Borshadupur Publication.
Commenting on the publication, Mohammad Mashfiqullah Tonmoy, CEO of Borshadupur Publication and StudentWays, said that Robinrafan was selected for the project based on his established reputation for advanced editing skills and VFX-driven social media videos.
He stated that Rafan’s work had already demonstrated a high level of technical proficiency and creative execution, which led the publication to approach him for authoring a specialized book on visual editing.
