Bangladeshi content creator RobinRafan was officially invited by TikTok to attend an exclusive, invite-only international creator networking and community experience event held in New York City, marking an important step in his global digital journey.
The closed-door event, titled “TikTok For Creators: Connects,” was curated and hosted by TikTok’s global creator team and brought together a specially selected group of international creators from diverse industries including finance, beauty & makeup, lifestyle, and AI-driven creative content.
The event took place on November 20, 2025, at The Lightning Society, Soho, New York, and continued from the evening through 10:00 PM, bringing together selected creators for an immersive international networking experience.
Participation in the program was limited to a select number of verified creators chosen by TikTok from global creator communities. A key focus of the event was in-depth discussions around TikTok’s global initiatives and creator movements, including #APITikTok, #BlackTikTok, and #CasaTikTok, where creators exchanged knowledge, platform insights, and future-facing content development strategies.
The event focused strongly on connection, collaboration, and meaningful exchange among creators. Participants engaged in live fireside-style discussions, informal workshops, and interactive sessions centered around:
• Hashtag growth and content visibility
• Advanced content optimization techniques
• Creator monetization insights
• Creative AI-driven storytelling
• Cross-border creator collaboration
Creators also took part in interactive creative activities, including TikTok’s “Bingo Card Creative Challenge,” where selected participants received special recognition and rewards for their performance.
Sharing his experience, RobinRafan said: “As a Bangladeshi creator, I was truly surprised and honored to receive an invitation to such an international event. I am deeply grateful to TikTok for giving me the opportunity to connect alongside globally established creators. Being able to discuss content strategy and creative development with international creators gave me insights that would have been almost impossible to gain otherwise. This experience has been incredibly valuable and unforgettable for me.”
The event was strictly invite-only and non-transferable, reflecting TikTok’s selective process in choosing creators for high-level global creator community experiences.
Industry observers noted that invitations to such TikTok international creator programs are typically extended to creators who demonstrate originality, strong digital presence, and meaningful impact within the creator ecosystem.
RobinRafan’s participation highlights the growing international presence of Bangladeshi digital creators and strengthens his position within the global creator economy.
