In the dynamic world of entrepreneurship, Umme Fatema Rimjhim has carved out a unique space with her brand Emaan. Rimjhim opened a facebook page with and started her business with just 20,000 BDT in 2021, since she has transformed Emaan into one of Bangladesh’s most popular modest wear brands, known for its unique designs and high-quality craftsmanship.
Rimjhim’s journey began with a passion for creativity and a desire to cater to women seeking stylish yet modest attire. She launched Emaan as a small online store, designing each product herself. From the very first month, her designs resonated with customers, leading to increased demand. Recognizing the potential, she reinvested her earnings and gradually expanded her business, increasing her investment to over 200,000 BDT within a short period. Now nearly 500000 people are following Emaan social media page.
Emaan specializes in custom-made modest wear, including abayas, hijabs, and accessories. All products are crafted with premium imported fabrics, including materials sourced from Dubai. The in-house stitching and finishing process ensures consistent quality. Customers also benefit from customized sizing, eliminating the hassle of alterations.
“Our designs are not copied. Each piece is carefully created by our team of designers to meet the unique preferences of our customers,” says Rimjhim.
Today, Emaan is more than just a brand; it’s a platform creating job opportunities. Rimjhim employs skilled workers, designers, and support staff in her factory, where everything from embroidery to finishing is done with utmost precision.
While Emaan has become a household name in Bangladesh, its products are also in demand internationally, with customers from the Middle East, Europe, and America.
After successfully opening her first showroom in South Banasree, Rimjhim plans to expand further by launching more outlets across Bangladesh. She also envisions strengthening Emaan’s presence in the global market, making it a go-to destination for modest wear.
Rimjhim’s journey is a testament to how creativity, resilience, and customer-centricity can transform a small business into a leading brand.
