Adv Rokonuzzaman: A popular and successful content creator in Bangladesh

Md Roknuzzaman popularly known as Adv Rokonuzzaman is a Lawyer of Bangladesh Supreme Court.

He regularly writes and creates content on different legal topics and publish it to social platforms and electronic media. Currently Bangladesh has a large number of content creators but as a skilled lawyer he is the maiden person who creates content on legal matters from time to time.

Through his content, the general people are becoming more aware about the legal system of the country. When he writes any legal topics and creates content he use very simple words for the common people.

Adv Roknuzzaman said, "I want to bring the laws to the doorstep of common people. Although laws are made for common people but most of the laws are not understandable to common people. One reason for this is that most of the laws in Bangladesh were made by the British Empire and were written in tough English. This laws  are sometimes difficult to understand even by learned lawyers".

As a discussion with the reporter Adv Roknuzzaman brought up the issue of cheque cases and said that, currently a large number of people in Bangladesh are involved in cheque to complete their business and personal transactions. In fact, it is one of the most convenient ways to pay dues. Some also use this cheque as a security token. Generally when a cheque is dishonored or bounced by a bank the cheque holder takes legal action against the cheque drawer. But the whole system is getting more complicated day by day.

Roknuzzaman is also a distinguished jurist who has had an extraordinary journey in the legal field. He completed LL.B (Hon's) and LL.M from the University of Dhaka and later enrolled as an advocate under the Bangladesh Bar Council. His legal career started at the Dhaka Bar Association and from there he went on to excel in various law societies and tribunals. Thereafter his career milestones shifted to High Court Division of the Supreme Court of Bangladesh. His efforts allowed him to practice in the High Court Division of the Supreme Court of Bangladesh.

He was asked about his future plans then he replied that he is very much eager to work for the country. He also said that he will devote himself to establish rule of law in the country.
