Born on September 6, 2002, Nasim completed his higher secondary education in 2018 from Otra Secondary School in Ujirpur Upazila, Barisal. He then enrolled in the Bangladesh Institute of Glass and Ceramics to pursue a four-year Diploma in Engineering, specializing in Ceramics. After successfully completing his diploma in 2023, Nasim is now preparing to go abroad for higher education.
Throughout his student life, Nasim has actively volunteered for various organizations. His motivation stems from a desire to gain valuable experience and develop leadership skills. Additionally, volunteering has helped him build networks, set career goals, acquire new skills, boost his self-confidence, and overcome childhood challenges through social interaction.
During the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020, Nasim worked as a volunteer for the Bangladesh Red Crescent Society in Dhaka District Unit, contributing to efforts both at the field level and in hospital vaccination programs. He played an essential role in awareness campaigns and worked in hospitals such as Dhaka Medical College Hospital, Government Employees Hospital, and Matuail Shishu Maternal Health Institute Hospital.
Nasim’s dedication as a volunteer extends beyond the pandemic. He has been actively involved as a student volunteer with the Bangladesh Red Crescent Society, the Bangladesh Institute of Glass and Ceramics Rover Scouts Group, and from 2021 to 2023, he volunteered for Robinhood the Animal Rescuer, a private organization.
Nasim believes that his future will always involve helping others, as he finds fulfillment in every step forward. “Life is about moving forward, and every step is a new experience,” he says.
