The amount of beneficiary owners (BO) in Bangladesh's capital market increased by 4,596 in August.
This information is revealed by the Central Depository of Bangladesh Limited (CDBL), an organization that keeps shares and BO accounts automatically.
According to CDBL data, the current number of women and men investors in the country's capital market is 174,721, which was 174,325 till last July 31.
The number of male investors was 134,372 and the number of female investors was 422,301 on July 31 of this year in two types of BO accounts.
And the number of institutional investors is 16,352. In all, the total BO account of the investors was 174,325.
