Share prices at the country’s premier bourse, Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) gains at opening while that on the Chittagong Stock Exchange (CSE) witnessed downtrend in early hours of trading on Tuesday. The DSE key index, DGEN gained 7.64 points or 0.18 percent to reach 4224.24 at 11am. Of the issues traded till then, 100 gained, 90 declined and 36 remained unchanged. Meanwhile, the CSE key index, CSCX lost 6.17 points to stand at 7836.25 points at 11am Tuesday. Of the issues traded till then, 39 gained, 58 declined and 20 remained unchanged.
