Three insurance companies, in separate filing with Dhaka Stock Exchange, declared their Q2 (April-June) earnings on Monday.
The companies are: Takaful Islami Insurance Limited, United Insurance Ltd and Karnaphuli Insurance Company Ltd.
Takaful Islami Insurance Limited’s earnings per share (EPS) was Tk0.56 for the Q2 of 2021, a 93.1% increase from Tk0.29 a year before.
Its net asset value (NAV) per share was Tk19.13 as of June 30, 2021, and Tk17.60 as of December 31, 2020.
Meanwhile, United Insurance Ltd’s EPS was Tk0.93 for the Q2 of 2021, a massive 210% increase from Tk0.30 for the same period of the previous year.
Its NAV per share was Tk32.41 as of June 30, 2021, and Tk33.04 as of December 31, 2020.
Moreover, Karnaphuli Insurance Company Ltd’s EPS was Tk0.56 for the Q2 of 2021, which is double of Tk0.28 a year before.
Its NAV per share was Tk19.83 as of June 30, 2021, and Tk. 18.85 as of June 30, 2020.
