Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has taken over from Finance Minister AHM Mustafa Kamal to table the proposed national budget for FY2019-20.
Kamal, who has been suffering from fever since Tuesday, had started delivering the budget speech in the parliament around 3pm on Thursday.

But as he started feeling unwell, the prime minister took over from him around 4pm.
The finance minister has proposed a mammoth Tk523,190 crore budget for the next fiscal year.
