Bank Asia, BB hold month-long entrepreneurship dev program

Bank Asia PLC has organized a month-long ‘Entrepreneurship Development Program’ under the Skills for Industry Competitiveness and Innovation Development (SICIP) project, financed by the Asian Development Bank (ADB) and implemented by the Finance Division of the Ministry of Finance, under the overall supervision of the SME & Special Programs Department of Bangladesh Bank.

The program was inaugurated by Md Masum Billah, additional director of Bangladesh Bank, on September 2 at the Bank Asia Institute for Training and Development (BAITD), Lalmatia, Dhaka.

Mohammad Wasim, joint director of Bangladesh Bank, and Mohammad Saifuddowla, head of MSME, Bank Asia, attended the program as special guests.

Akhteruddin Mahmood, deputy managing director and chief human resources officer of Bank Asia, presided over the program.

The month-long program will provide entrepreneurs with essential training on various aspects of business operations, management, financial planning, market management, and business expansion.

The initiative aims to enhance the participants’ business knowledge and management capabilities, enabling them to operate and expand their businesses successfully while creating new employment opportunities and contributing to the country’s overall economic development.
