Pubali Bank donates microbus to Bangladesh Shishu Hospital & Institute

Pubali Bank PLC has donated a microbus to Bangladesh Shishu Hospital & Institute as part of its social responsibility.

In a ceremony held at the hospital's board room, Pubali Bank PLC's managing director Mohammad Ali formally handed over the key of the microbus to Bangladesh Shishu Hospital & Institute director Prof Dr Mirza Md. Ziaul Islam. 

Hospital board of directors member Prof Dr MA Kamal, head of Critical Care Unit Prof Dr Mahbubul Haque, head of Surgery Department Prof Dr SM Khalid Mahmud, Head of Pediatric Medicine Department Prof Dr Mohammad Munir Hossain and deputy director (hospital) Dr Md Azharul Islam, Pubali Bank's general manager and regional head of Dhaka North Region AKM Abdur Raqib, Dhanmondi branch manager and deputy general manager Nigar Sultana, assistant general manager and head of public relations Mohammad Mizanur Rahman, and senior officials of Pubali Bank and Bangladesh Shishu Hospital & Institute were also present.

Pubali Bank managing director and CEO Mohammad Ali said that Pubali Bank is not only working as a financial institution, but also as a responsible institution for the welfare of the people of the country. Bangladesh Shishu Hospital & Institute plays an important role in the medical services of children.

“We are very happy to present a microbus to make the medical services of this institution more dynamic. Pubali Bank's social responsibility activities for the health, education and human welfare of the country will continue in the future.”

Bangladesh Shishu Hospital & Institute director Prof Dr Mirza Md Ziaul Islam said this initiative of Pubali Bank to improve the quality of medical services for children is very commendable.
