Jabedul Alam has joined Standard Islami Bank PLC as deputy managing director & chief transformation officer.
Alam is a seasoned banker with more than 26 years of extensive experience in the banking sector.
He began his banking career with HSBC Bank in 2000 and subsequently served in various important positions at Brac Bank and Eastern Bank PLC (EBL).
Throughout his career, Alam has held senior leadership positions and made significant contributions to business growth, corporate banking and transaction banking, with a strong focus on transformation and strategic business development.
He holds an MBA in Business Administration from the University of Chittagong.
With his extensive banking experience, leadership capabilities and strategic vision, Alam is expected to play an important role in advancing Standard Islami Bank’s business growth and transformation agenda.
