Sponsor director Akram Hossain (Humayun) has been elected chairman of the risk management committee of the board of directors of Mercantile Bank PLC.
The decision was made at the 490th board meeting of the bank held at its head office on July 30.
He has previously served as chairman, vice chairman, chairman of the executive committee and chairman of the risk management committee of the bank at different times.
Freedom Fighter Akram Hossain (Humayun) is chairman and managing director of FARS Group, a renowned real estate business conglomerate.
