Md Ariful Bari, a seasoned banker with more than 25 years of progressive experience in the banking industry, has joined Bank Asia PLC as deputy managing director (DMD) and chief credit officer (CCO).
Throughout his distinguished banking career, Bari has earned an outstanding reputation for driving sustainable business growth, strengthening institutional relationships and fostering a culture of prudent risk management.
Prior to joining Bank Asia PLC, he served in senior leadership roles in the wholesale banking division of City Bank PLC.
Earlier in his career, he built a strong professional foundation at HSBC Bangladesh, where he gained broad-based experience across multiple banking disciplines.
Bari completed his higher studies in Economics.
He has participated in numerous professional training programs, workshops and seminars at home and abroad, further enriching his knowledge and expertise in banking and financial services.
