A distinguished finance professional and business leader, Murshed brings more than 25 years of professional experience spanning finance, accounts, treasury, internal and external audit, taxation, systems development, and advisory services.
His extensive expertise, coupled with his strategic leadership, is expected to further strengthen Green Delta Insurance PLC's commitment to excellence, innovation, and sustainable growth.
Murshed completed his Master of Commerce in Finance from the University of Dhaka and is a Fellow Chartered Accountant (FCA) of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Bangladesh (ICAB).
He is also a Fellow Member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (FCCA), United Kingdom, reflecting his strong professional credentials and international standing.
Following the completion of his chartered accountancy training at a renowned CA firm in Bangladesh, Murshed built an impressive career across leading national and multinational organizations.
His professional journey includes key roles at ACI Pharmaceuticals Ltd., Beximco Textiles Limited, KPMG Bangladesh, and Atlas Copco Bangladesh Ltd., the Bangladesh operation of the globally renowned Swiss multinational operating in more than 180 countries.
He also gained valuable international experience by working in the United States and the United Kingdom in diverse professional capacities.
Murshed currently serves as proprietor of Mustaid Murshed & Co., Chartered Accountants, where he provides assurance, advisory, taxation, and financial consulting services to a wide range of clients.
Beyond his professional accomplishments, Murshed is an avid global traveler, having visited more than 150 countries.
He is a member of the Travelers' Century Club (US) and holds dual citizenship of Bangladesh and the United States.
