EBL and bKash jointly introduce FDR on bKash App

Eastern Bank PLC (EBL) and bKash jointly introduced the country's first digital FDR (Fixed Deposit) available on bKash App, marking a significant milestone in advancing financial inclusion.

bKash users can now instantly open FDR from bKash App, without visiting branches or submitting paper documents.

By making reliable savings products more accessible, the initiative aims to help people across the country, including those in semi-urban and rural areas, grow their savings conveniently with one of the leading banks in Bangladesh.

bKash customers can now open FDR with EBL ranging from Tk10,000 to Tk100,000 having tenures of 6 and 12 months, with auto-renewal option.

Customers will receive periodic interest in bKash account.

Besides, customers can download and preserve digital receipts from bKash app.
