NRB Bank PLC has recently appointed Anwar Uddin and Kimiwa Saddat as additional managing directors (AMDs) to strengthen its executive leadership team and drive sustainable growth.
Anwar Uddin, who previously served as deputy managing director at the bank, has been promoted to additional managing director in recognition of his leadership and contributions.
With a banking career spanning nearly four decades, Uddin started as probationary officer at NCC Bank Ltd in 1987.
He later joined Southeast Bank Limited in 1996, rising to deputy managing director while managing corporate banking, credit administration, risk management, and regulatory compliance.
Meanwhile, Kimiwa Saddat has joined NRB Bank PLC as additional managing director and chief business officer (AMD & CBO), effective July 29.
Bringing over 23 years of diversified banking experience, Saddat previously served as managing director & CEO (current charge) at Community Bank Bangladesh PLC.
His career also includes key senior positions at Meghna Bank PLC, HSBC Bangladesh, The City Bank PLC, Eastern Bank PLC, and GSP Finance Company (Bangladesh) Ltd.
Saddat holds both a BBA and an MBA in Finance from the University of Dhaka and is a Certified Financial Consultant (CFC), Canada.
In addition to his corporate role, he serves as an Adjunct Faculty Member in the Department of Finance at the University of Dhaka.
