Premier Bank, Omnicare holds health awareness session for female employees

The Premier Bank PLC, in collaboration with Omnicare, organized a special health awareness session for its female employees at the Learning & Talent Development Centre of the bank’s head office.

The initiative was designed to emphasize women’s physical and mental wellbeing and recognize their valuable contributions in the workplace.

The session was attended by Md Monzur Mofiz, managing director of Premier Bank PLC; Niamat Uddin Ahmed, deputy managing director; Amalendu Roy, deputy managing director; and Moinul Huq Shiraze, VP and head of human resources (in-charge).

The program was moderated by Syeda Noureen Binte Naquib, SAVP of the bank’s Learning & Talent Development Centre.

In his address, managing director Md Monzur Mofiz highlighted the significant role women play across families, communities and society as a whole.

He stated that ensuring the wellbeing, safety and empowerment of women is fundamental to fostering an inclusive, supportive, and positive workplace culture.

The session featured expert insights from Dr Refat Uz Johra, assistant professor and psychiatrist at Omnicare, who discussed mental wellbeing, stress management, and maintaining a healthy work-life balance.

Dr Sain Faria Setu, specialist in obstetrics and gynecology at Omnicare, shared valuable information on women’s reproductive health, the importance of regular health check-ups and adopting a health-conscious lifestyle.

Female employees of Premier Bank actively participated in the interactive session, which provided an engaging platform for learning, awareness and open discussion on key health and wellness issues affecting women.
