To evaluate the business performance of its sub-branches and outline future strategic priorities under the leadership of the newly constituted board of directors, the Premier Bank PLC held its "Sub-Branch Business Performance Review Meeting 2026" at the bank's head office on Saturday, June 27.
The meeting was attended by 67 sub-branch in-charges representing different regions across the country.
Discussions focused on reviewing the performance of the sub-branches, identifying opportunities for business expansion, and formulating strategies to ensure sustainable growth.
The participants were also provided with strategic guidance to enhance operational excellence and business performance.
Arifur Rahman, chairman of Premier Bank PLC, graced the occasion as chief guest, and Md Monzur Mofiz, managing director of the bank, attended as special guest.
Deputy managing directors Niamat Uddin Ahmed, SM Wali Ul Morshed, Amalendu Roy, and Mohammad Al-Amin, along with heads of various divisions and other senior officials of the bank were also present at the program.
During the meeting, Mohammad Shamim Murshed, SEVP & head of retail banking division; Mohammad Ahsan Ul Alam, SEVP & head of agent banking, cards & ADC Division; and Asif Khan, head of SME & agriculture banking division, presented their strategic business plans and future initiatives aimed at strengthening the performance and sustainable growth of the bank's sub-branch network.
