IFIC Bank PLC and Best Western Plus Bay Hills, part of the international hotel chain, have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU).
The MoU was signed on Thursday, June 18, at a ceremony held at IFIC Tower in Dhaka, in the presence of senior officials from both organizations.
In presence of Md Rafiqul Islam, deputy managing director and chief credit officer of IFIC Bank, the agreement was signed by Helal Ahmed, chief of branch business and head of operations, on behalf of the bank, and by Shahadat Hossain Bahar, CEO of Best Western Plus Bay Hills, on behalf of the hotel.
Representing Best Western Plus Bay Hills at the ceremony were Omar Sani, adviser to the organization and renowned film actor, and Md Abu Seheri Forhad, head of sales and marketing.
Representing IFIC Bank were Khandaker Anwar Ehtesham, head of branding, communications and corporate affairs, and Md Zakir Hossain, head of cards and digital banking.
Other senior officials from both organizations were also present.
Under the MoU, IFIC Bank customers will be entitled to enjoy a 60% discount on room rates and a 10% discount on à la carte menus and banquet hall services at Best Western Plus Bay Hills Hotel in Cox’s Bazar.
