Banks and financial institutions will operate as per normal schedule from Wednesday.
Bangladesh Bank Executive Director and Spokesperson Md Mezbaul Haque gave the information on Tuesday.
He said: "From tomorrow (Wednesday), bank transactions will be from 10am to 4pm. However, the banks will be open for office activities till 6 pm.”
Meanwhile, Bangladesh Bank has issued a circular in this regard on Tuesday.
Earlier on this day at noon, a notification from the public relations department of the Ministry of Public Administration said that all offices will run according to the normal schedule from Wednesday.
