Financial Literacy Wing of Shariah based Union Bank Limited recently organized "Enhancing Social Awareness for Sending Remittance through Legal Channels" program in Rangpur.
Head of Financial Literacy Wing of the Bank and VP Chowdhury SM Atiqur Rahman Hyder was present as the chief guest of the program.
Head of Rangpur Branch and AVP Kazi Reza Shahinoor Alam and Head of Dinajpur Branch of the bank AVP Md Amiruzzaman were also present as special guests.
Besides, branch managers and local dignitaries of Rangpur Division were also present at the program.
The importance of Remittance, the benefits of sending Remittance through banking channels, discussions on the harmful aspects of Remittance through hundi and video clips were presented in the program in this regard.
