Traffic fines can now be paid instantly through the bKash app in just a few taps, without any hassle.
It can also be paid from more than 350,000 bKash agent points across the country.
The service, launched jointly by Community Bank and bKash, allows users to clear fines for all types of traffic cases filed by the Bangladesh Police.
Whenever needed, customers can instantly pay traffic fines from anywhere in the country using the ‘Pay Bill’ option from the home screen in the bKash app.
They can also avail instant traffic fine payment services from any nearby bKash agent points.
The service aims to enable on-the-spot settlement whenever a case is filed for violating traffic rules.
After receiving the traffic fine slip, customers can pay the fine anytime and from anywhere using the bKash app.
Alongside, they get the opportunity to quickly retrieve seized documents from the concerned law enforcement officer by showing the payment receipt.
How to pay traffic fines through bKash app
To use this service, a customer needs to tap the ‘Pay Bill’ icon on the home screen of the bKash app.
The ‘Traffic Fine’ feature can be found under the ‘Government Fee’ option or by typing into the search bar.
Next, entering the specific case number written on the traffic case slip will automatically show the fine amount on the screen.
After checking all details, the customer confirms the transaction by entering their PIN, and the fine is cleared instantly.
Upon successful payment, a confirmation SMS and in-app notification will be sent to the customer’s mobile number.
A fee is applicable.
After completing the payment, downloading the digital receipt enables swift recovery of seized documents.
