The 29th Annual General Meeting (AGM) of Infrastructure Development Company Limited (Idcol) was held on August 15 at the InterContinental Dhaka.
The meeting was chaired by Md Shahriar Kader Siddiky, chairman of Idcol and secretary, Economic Relations Division (ERD).
idcol’s directors and shareholders reviewed the company's financial performance and strategic direction.
ABM Abdus Sattar, principal secretary to the Prime Minister's Office (PMO), who is also a shareholder of Idcol, was present at the AGM.
The AGM was also attended by Md Khairuzzaman Mozumder, director, Idcol and secretary, Finance Division, Mirana Mahrukh, director, Idcol and secretary, Power Division Ministry of Power, Energy and Mineral Resources, Mohd Ahsan Kibria Siddiqui, director, Idcol and additional secretary, Economic Relations Division (ERD), Omar Sadat, barrister-at-law, director, Idcol and managing partner, Sadat Sarwat and Associates, and Md Abdur Rahman Khan, shareholder, Idcol and former secretary of Internal Resources Division and chairman of the National Board of Revenue.
In the fiscal year 2025, the company earned an operating profit of Tk558 crore.
The AGM declared a total dividend of Tk124 crore from the profit earned during FY2025, structured as follows:
Cash Dividend: Tk62 crore to be paid to the Government.
Bonus Shares: Tk62 crore to be issued as bonus shares to increase the company's existing paid-up capital from Tk938 crore to Tk1,000 crore.
