ACI PLC has appointed Tanvir Shahriar Rimon as director of ACI Properties Limited, one of the group's newest ventures and the company behind the flagship brand Sereno Levande.
He will lead the company's strategic direction, business growth, and transformation as ACI Properties advances its vision of building Bangladesh's most trusted technology-enabled property ecosystem through Sereno Levande.
With more than 23 years in Bangladesh's corporate sector, Tanvir has built a distinguished career across the real estate and marine fisheries industries, marked by business transformation, sustainable development, and customer-centric innovation.
He has contributed to the delivery of more than a thousand homes while leading large multidisciplinary organizations through sustained growth and operational excellence.
Previously, he served as executive director at Rancon Group and CEO of its real estate and sea fishing division, leading four companies across both sectors.
There, he transformed business performance and strengthened governance.
The real estate business achieved remarkable commercial growth and operational efficiency while earning industry recognition for its commitment to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
In marine fisheries, he led pioneering initiatives including Bangladesh's first export of onboard block-frozen Ocean Tiger shrimp to Europe and a cold storage facility powered entirely by renewable energy.
A passionate advocate of ESG principles and green construction, Tanvir is also an author, leadership mentor, and educator, most recently serving as adjunct associate professor at Chittagong Independent University.
He founded the Connect the Dots Foundation during the Covid-19 pandemic, establishing a nationwide oxygen bank, and was honored as a Covid Hero by Rotary International in 2021.
He is a life fellow of the Institution of Engineers, Bangladesh (IEB) and a member of the ESG Business Institute.
Recently launched, ACI Properties Limited was founded to create an integrated, technology-driven property services platform.
Through Sereno Levande, the company offers five integrated verticals under one platform: digital marketplace, property management, premium resale, serviced apartments, and corporate housing.
